The Calais Foundation empowers and encourages children and young adults having diverse learning disabilities to achieve their fullest potential and become responsible, caring individuals for their families, employers, and communities. This is achieved by providing financial and volunteer support for excellence in the specialized learning opportunities offered at The Calais School and others serving the learning disabled community throughout northern New Jersey.
 

Cheshire Home is a home for physically disabled, mentally alert, young adults who have the desire and capability to participate in rehabilitative services, with the goal of achieving consistent growth towards a personal measure of independence. Cheshire provides a stimulating home-like environment where residents are able to improve their quality of life and contribute to their community while benefiting from our professionally staffed services and programs

The mission of Creative Heartwork, Inc.® is to improve the lives of children experiencing the often painful challenges of serious illness, disability, separation, poverty, abuse or neglect by providing healing programs utilizing the visual arts, music, dance and theater, media and culinary arts or other creative opportunities to provide the opportunity for children to reframe their experiences, channel their emotions, enhance resiliency, experience pride in their healthy adjustment to circumstances beyond their control. Creative Heartwork, Inc. will accomplish this in an environment that will foster a sense of childhood joy, creativity, and exuberance. The organization also serves to foster and promote greater public awareness of the healing benefits of the arts and their ability to mitigate the risk factors facing many children and adolescents.

 
 
Employment Horizons annually serves more than 500 disabled and disadvantaged persons - aged 16 through 75 - who rely on the us to help them achieve employment goals, attain self-sufficiency and gain self respect.
 
As a social business enterprise we operate various businesses with the primary goal of creating jobs which provide work readiness and employment skills training to our program participants. Our goal is to match the skills of this under served population with the business needs of area business partners who employ our participants in a wide variety of positions enabling them to be productive members of our community.
 
 
Interfaith Food Pantry distributes supplemental and/or emergency food to eligible Morris County residents in need; provides hands on opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors and educates the public about the issues of hunger in our area

NJ Foundation for the Blind: To enable adults who are blind or visually impaired to lead independent lives through individual and family support and intensive training in adaptive living skills, technology, and orientation and mobility.

Push to Walk's mission is to help improve the overall quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI) through exercise based, recovery oriented training.The objective is to help people with spinal cord injuries to maintain and improve their physical health and well-being and reduce secondary complications with the ultimate goal of walking again.

 

The Rose House - provides developmentally disabled adults with a variety of living options, skills training, and interpersonal supports to help them pursue their goals and dreams, and become valued members of their communities. We are a grassroots non-profit organization providing programs including:
        Community-based Residential Living, including group homes and apartments.
